The Space

Woodview on the Lake sits on a lovely picturesque 3-acre property on Julian Lake and is directly off Hwy 28. Just a two-hour drive from Toronto!  Local towns of Lakefield and Apsley, Peterborough and Bancroft are all within 30 minutes from Woodview. Walk the grounds of Woodview on the Lake. Sit down by the water. Enjoy an evening at the fire pit or an afternoon reading on the swing.

Nearby are Woodview Golf, Petroglyphs and Quarry Beach. We are located right beside Woodview General Store that is equipped with everything. There is a gourmet food Truck in the summer.

Accommodation

This gorgeous Lakeside Manor has breathtaking views of Julian Lake and includes a fabulous great room with a grand piano, TV and wood stove. There are four bedrooms (sleeps eleven). as well three baths (one with whirlpool tub, one with walk-in shower and another half bath). The full-service kitchen includes dishwasher, propane fireplace, TV and a very spacious dining area, along with a huge island where you and your group can prepare meals. Outside you can relax on the covered porches or visit the frog pond and turtle pond while on your way to the enticing and peaceful Julian Lake.

The Lakeside Lofts is located to the left of the Manor and sleeps six.  It has a full-service kitchen, a propane fireplace, a walk-in shower and picturesque views of Julian Lake from the lovely upper balcony.

The Cozy Bunkie sleeps two and looks out onto the little pond where you can watch the frogs, or birds. Walk down to the lake and enjoy the evening on the boat dock or sitting around the fire pit.

Lake, Boating & Canoeing

The resort is located in woods and on the lake shore of Julian Lake. We have many canoes and a pontoon boat for your enjoyment.
